As a Massage Therapist, you will administer professional massage and body treatments to our guests. You will help guests relax, recharge, and feel their best. Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree GED
The Team Member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Follow instructions without close supervision
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
Required to pass a background screen, drug test, and prove eligibility to work in the United States
Must meet all licensing requirements to practice Massage Therapy in the state of Tennessee
Ability to create customized treatment plans
Understanding of contraindications and safety standards
Strong communication and listening skills
Professional bedside manner and client service orientation
Respect for client confidentiality and boundaries
Ability to work independently or as part of the team
Excellent communication and listening skills, as well as basic computer knowledge
Must be a team player

Responsibilities

Be prompt for each appointment and complete services within designated time frames
Provide consistent, professional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and certification standards
Inform and educate guests on wellness concerns and service options
Properly care for equipment and use appropriate amounts of products to support cost control
Maintain complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered
Uphold sanitation and sterilization standards as required by law and spa policies
Prepare rooms, clean and restock as needed between appointments
Communicate to management any staff or guest issues requiring attention
Actively promote spa services, treatments, retail products, and available programs or promotions
Handle guest questions and concerns professionally and courteously
Respond promptly and appropriately to all guest requests
Work independently with minimal supervision
Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a high-quality work environment
Participate in and support ongoing training and staff meetings
Assist in all areas of spa operations as requested by management
Perform other duties as assigned
