About The Position
Join The NOW Massage Minneapolis North Loop as a Founding Massage Therapist in a brand-new, locally owned massage boutique. This role offers a supportive environment where your craft and well-being are valued, with opportunities for professional growth into Lead Massage Therapist and potentially Regional Lead Massage Therapist roles. The NOW Massage aims to redefine the health and wellness industry by offering high-quality, customizable massage services in an aesthetically inspiring and convenient setting.
Requirements
- Desire to be part of a team that has an infectious passion for health and wellness.
- Must present a license/exam certificate during the interview process and maintain it throughout employment if hired.
- Knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage and other modalities.
- Excellent guest service skills.
- Availability during prime earning potential periods including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 6 hours in length. Length of time of these tasks may vary from day to day and task to task.
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill room resetting tasks and all massage service protocols. Requires grasping, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability and visual acuity.
- Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
- Will consider qualified candidates beginning their careers in massage therapy who possess the right qualities and demonstrate an innate talent for and understanding of therapeutic massage.
Responsibilities
- Share the healing power of touch to inspire and transform through the benefits of massage therapy.
- Provide therapeutic massage through a variety of modalities (Prenatal, Sports, Stretching Techniques, etc.)
- Maintain service room to standards. All supplies are provided.
