MASSAGE THERAPIST - FT/PT CONTRACT
About The Position
AyurPrana is seeking a Massage Therapist for its new facility, So-Hum Mountain Healing Resort, located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This facility will offer healing experiences based on Ayurveda and ancient wisdom, including bodywork, panchakarma therapies, and educational classes. The Massage Therapist will be responsible for providing relaxation and treating body pain and discomfort through physical touch and Ayurvedic bodywork techniques such as Abhyanga therapy, Shirodhara, and sweat therapy. Medicated and essential oils will be used. The role may involve guidance from an Ayurvedic practitioner on treatment recommendations. The Massage Therapist will contribute to a caring and healing environment for clients on their healing journey.
Requirements
- Must have current NC license in massage therapy
- Ability to work full days
- Positive attitude and ability to create a harmonious environment for clients and fellow coworkers
Nice To Haves
- Prior ayurvedic protocols are not required, but training will be provided on all therapies.
Responsibilities
