About The Position

As a Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for providing Massage and Spa services to guests with unparalleled personalized service, professionalism, and exceptional knowledge in the field of the healing arts. You will greet guests warmly, escort them to and from treatment rooms, and attend to their immediate needs throughout their spa visit. Your role involves preparing treatment rooms to client specifications while adhering to property service standards, performing necessary prep work, and properly cleaning and restocking the room. Ensuring guest comfort and safety throughout the treatment is paramount, as is maintaining professional ethics and providing personalized service to meet each guest's needs. You will maintain the work area with necessary supplies, ensure the room is immaculate at all times, and uphold cleanliness in all other spa areas, including locker rooms. Adherence to sanitation and sterilization standards as directed by law and spa policies is required. You will also communicate any occurrences involving staff or guests to management, including guest complaints or misconduct, and actively promote the spa, its treatments, services, sessions, retail products, programs, promotions, and discounts. Regular attendance and participation in training and staff meetings for the spa are expected.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a licensed massage therapist
  • Massage Therapist State License required
  • Personal, excellent communication skills, professionalism and love for healing
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to a minimum of three days a week inclusive of weekends.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a luxury spa and/or hotel spa environment preferred

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and escort guests to and from treatment rooms while attending to any immediate needs throughout their Spa visit.

  • Ensure guest comfort and safety throughout the treatment.

  • Actively promote the spa, treatments, services, sessions, and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
  • Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
