About The Position

Trilogy at Redmond Ridge, a resort-style, active-adult community for people aged 55 and over with more than 1,500 members, is hiring a licensed Massage Therapist to work in its Tranquility Spa. The therapist should be comfortable building a clientele within the Trilogy community. This is a weekday position, not including weekends, with commission-based compensation. The opening is described as immediate.

Requirements

• Valid Washington State Massage Therapy License.
• Liability insurance.
• CPR/AED certification within 20 days of employment.
• Comfort with providing treatments to men and women.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience providing massage and body treatments in a similar setting.
• Previous customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt service for each appointment and complete services within the allotted time.
• Perform consistent professional body treatments according to spa protocols and accepted certification practices.
• Support the needs of the spa and assist with spa functions and events.
• Maintain knowledge of services, continuing education, and product knowledge.
• Prepare, clean, sanitize, and restock the treatment room as needed.
• Communicate to management about spa staff or member occurrences requiring attention.
• Promote the spa, treatments, services, retail products, programs, promotions, and available discounts.
• Respond to members’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
