About The Position
Eckert Seamans is a full-service national law firm with a strong reputation and a history of success spanning over 65 years. With approximately 300 lawyers across a network of 14 offices, we provide clients with proactive, solution-oriented business and litigation counsel. We seek a Mass Tort Litigation Associate for our Boston, MA office. The attorney hired for this position will work directly with partners and other associates on litigation matters in a fast-paced, active environment and directly communicate and interact with clients.
Requirements
- One (1) to Three (3) years of civil litigation experience
- Excellent academic credentials and strong drafting skills
- Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Massachusetts bar admission is required
Nice To Haves
- Experience with asbestos will be strongly considered
- Court and deposition experience strongly preferred
- Rhode Island and/or Connecticut bar admission is a plus
Responsibilities
- Work directly with partners and other associates on litigation matters in a fast-paced, active environment.
- Directly communicate and interact with clients.
- Manage a variety of active matters independently.
