About The Position

This position requires the candidate to be detailed oriented and experienced to handle residential real estate closings from beginning to end. This includes keeping buyer, seller, real estate agents, lenders and mortgage brokers up to date throughout the transaction as well as clearing title, closing, balancing and disbursing escrow funds, recording documents to convey and insure title, and other ancillary tasks that relate to the issuance of title insurance in the State of Florida.

Requirements

2+ years of experience as a title closer.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of closing process, real estate laws and regulations.
Valid Florida Notary. Title Agent license is a plus.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with lenders, realtors, buyers, sellers and attorneys to ensure smooth closing.
Reviewing and preparing escrow documents and ensuring they are complete and accurate.
Conduct closings and guide all parties through the signing process.
Maintaining updated knowledge of escrow and real estate laws and regulations.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory and underwriting requirements.
Resolving title and closing issues proactively.
Remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
Manage the disbursement of funds.
