About The Position

Northwest is seeking an experienced Notary Closer to represent our team at the closing table — bringing professionalism, precision, and polish to every transaction. This role requires at least one year of experience working in the Real Estate Title industry or in Real Estate Law. Subject matter training is not provided.

Requirements

  • Active Notary Public commission (required)
  • Minimum one year of experience as a notary closer for real estate closings
  • Demonstrated experience in the Real Estate Title industry or Real Estate Law
  • Strong command of closing documents, including Closing Disclosures and Settlement Statements
  • Exceptional organization — you manage multiple moving pieces simultaneously without dropping one
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proper grammar and spelling across email, phone, and in-person
  • Reliable personal transportation and ability to travel within the region as required

  • Stay composed under deadline pressure and communicate proactively when anything is off-track
  • Know how to represent a professional company, from signing in a bank branch to signing at someone's kitchen table

Responsibilities

  • Print, organize, ship, and scan all closing packages with strict attention to accuracy and completeness.
  • Review closing documents for errors or missing items before and after each signing appointment.
  • Travel throughout your territory to conduct real estate closings at homes, offices, and other agreed-upon locations.
  • Manage your schedule to ensure all signings and document returns happen on time, every time.
  • Serve as the professional face of Northwest at the closing table — clear, calm, and client-focused.
  • Ensure executed packages are returned promptly and reconciled accurately per company standards.
  • Complete necessary document filings at county offices within the assigned territory.
