This role requires regular onsite presence to fulfill essential job responsibilities. The Mask Manufacturing Technician performs assigned product manufacturing and assembly tasks, ensuring finished products meet industry standards and customer specifications. The technician also supports the development, building, and testing of new products, prototypes, or processes for quality and functionality. Responsibilities include operating equipment from a remote operations center or within the factory, collecting and evaluating operating data for equipment adjustment and process optimization, and maintaining overall production efficiency. The role involves setting up and operating production equipment according to good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures, supporting installation, qualification, maintenance, and training of new equipment, and maximizing equipment utilization and automated systems for quality output. The technician collaborates with the Manufacturing Operations Manager and peers to meet output requirements, escalates risks, supports process improvements, troubleshoots nonstandard events, and reviews technological health and stability. Additionally, the role ensures raw material availability, inspects materials and final products for quality control, conducts functionality checks on parts, drives quality and cost improvements with engineering, and maintains production logs and documentation.
