About The Position

This role requires regular onsite presence to fulfill essential job responsibilities. The Mask Manufacturing Technician performs assigned product manufacturing and assembly tasks, ensuring finished products meet industry standards and customer specifications. The technician also supports the development, building, and testing of new products, prototypes, or processes for quality and functionality. Responsibilities include operating equipment from a remote operations center or within the factory, collecting and evaluating operating data for equipment adjustment and process optimization, and maintaining overall production efficiency. The role involves setting up and operating production equipment according to good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures, supporting installation, qualification, maintenance, and training of new equipment, and maximizing equipment utilization and automated systems for quality output. The technician collaborates with the Manufacturing Operations Manager and peers to meet output requirements, escalates risks, supports process improvements, troubleshoots nonstandard events, and reviews technological health and stability. Additionally, the role ensures raw material availability, inspects materials and final products for quality control, conducts functionality checks on parts, drives quality and cost improvements with engineering, and maintains production logs and documentation.

Requirements

High school Diploma or GED AND 1+ years of relevant experience in one or more of the following: military electronic/avionic technician training, end-user computer skills and navigation, schematic/wiring diagram reading, electronic systems, troubleshooting and maintenance and the testing, and/or repairing and troubleshooting faulty electronic equipment down to a component using available schematics.
Associate's degree or higher in a STEM program

Nice To Haves

Working knowledge of standard PC tools such as MS Windows, MS Outlook, and MS Office suite
Previous experience in Mask/Wafer manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

Performs assigned product manufacturing and assembly tasks in the production process, ensuring that the finished products match the industry standards and customer specifications.
Supports developing, building and testing new products and prototypes, or processes for quality and functionality.
Operates equipment either from a remote operations center or internal to factory.
Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct online equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.
Maintains overall production efficiency of assigned tools/ modules and optimizes production efficiency by adjusting machinery and equipment settings as needed.
Sets up and operates production equipment in accordance with current good manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
Supports activities related to the installation, qualification, maintenance, and training of new or reused production equipment.
Drives maximum utilization of equipment and use of automated systems to maximize quality of output.
Works with Manufacturing Operations Manager and peers to produce product that meets output requirements and escalates appropriately to management team when shift output schedules are at risk.
Supports incorporating process improvements, and troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability.
Ensures availability of required raw materials for production.
Inspects raw materials and final products, performing quality control evaluations to confirm items meet established standards.
Conducts quality checks on the functionality of parts and components.
Drives quality and cost improvements through area in conjunction with engineering.
Maintains production logs and other required documentation as indicated by Standard Operating Procedures.
