About The Position

DARCARS Automotive Group is hiring a Maryland State Auto Inspector to support its growing dealership group. The role performs vehicle maintenance and repair work, completes used-car inspections, and provides estimates for additional repairs. The employee may also be assigned other duties by a supervisor.

Requirements

Hold a valid Maryland State Inspection License.
Have at least three years of experience as an automotive technician.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid driver's license with a good record.
Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Be able to drive both manual and automatic vehicles.
Demonstrate self-motivation, strong attention to detail, a results-oriented approach, a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic.
Successfully pass the stated pre-employment background screening, including criminal background check, consumer and motor vehicle record review, and SSN verification.

Responsibilities

Perform work specified on maintenance and repair orders efficiently and according to dealership standards, including work such as brake pads, rotors, and alignments.
Complete used-car checklists to identify necessary repairs.
Provide labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs.
Attend formal training sessions to learn new technical information and techniques and stay current with changing technology.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as directed by a supervisor.
