About The Position

This position leads medium‑ to large‑scale cross‑functional projects that advance the strategic vision of Marketing and deliver meaningful business impact. The role partners with Marketing teams across 3M, the Marketing Excellence Steering Committee, business leaders, and stakeholders to refine scope, develop project plans, and facilitate effective planning and communication. It leverages global, multi‑disciplinary resources to execute projects efficiently and uses data analytics to track performance, identify trends, and support data‑driven decision‑making across the PMO. As a(n) PI/PMO Leader (Process Improvement and Project Management Office Leader), you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Leading multiple cross-functional projects to successful completion that are typically medium to large in scale with moderate risk and impact to the Business/Function. Implementing innovative solutions to the organizations most complex global problems to help drive the strategic vision of Marketing and assist in executing aligned projects. Collaborating with Marketing Organizations across 3M, Marketing Excellence Project Steering Committee, business management, stakeholders, and project team members to refine project scope, and oversees development of complete project plans. Participates in project planning with project client and typically serves as a facilitator. Generates communication plans and executes them across the organization to ensure project support. Leveraging global resources across Marketing as well as typically across several disciplines, to achieve timely completion of project deliverables. Leverage data analytics to track project performance, identify trends, and support data‑driven decision‑making across the PMO. Serving as a mentor/coach for other PMOs within the Marketing Function to help drive a culture of process improvement at all levels of the organization. Provides training on existing project leadership tools, methodologies, and LSS principals to multiple teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university
  • Five (5) or more years of experience specifically in project management, process improvement, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).

Nice To Haves

  • LSS Black Belt certification, LSS Master Black Belt certification, or PMP certification
  • Previous experience within Marketing functions / organizations
  • 10-15 years of related work experience
