About The Position

This is an 8-10 week paid internship program at Oak Street Funding, a subsidiary of First Financial. The program offers professional development opportunities, exposure to multiple lines of business, and interaction with clients. Interns will learn through on-the-job training and real-world experiences, working alongside professionals. The role involves providing first-class service, participating in project assignments, mentoring, and job shadowing. The program has a high satisfaction rate, with over 95% of participants agreeing they would seek full-time employment and recommend the program. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university and pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
  • A fast learner and problem solver who pays close attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Basic analytical, critical thinking and project management skills.
  • Strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office products and video conferencing tools.

  • Campus involvement and/or leadership experience.
  • Prior work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support functional area and line of business projects and initiatives.
  • Detect specific pain points in data optimization and uncover key efficiency opportunities.
  • Update the Training Videos folder with any appropriate changes based on new practices.
  • Explore potential solutions to increase efficiency.
  • Create CAPSTONE Presentation for leadership.
  • Provide continuous improvement feedback to the Director of Marketing, Market Research Analyst and Director of HR.
  • Meet acceptable performance levels and maintain positive working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clients.
  • Observe the Code of Conduct and “Standards of Conduct and Discipline”, as outlined in the Associate Handbook.
