About The Position

Clark Hill PLC is seeking a Marketing Specialist for its Chicago, Detroit, or Pittsburgh office. Candidates must have a minimum of three (3) years of Marketing experience, preferably for a law firm or professional services organization. The Marketing Specialist supports the firm’s profile-raising efforts by executing and optimizing strategic initiatives that enhance brand visibility, support attorney practices, and drive engagement across digital and traditional channels. This role combines hands-on execution with analytical insight, and requires the ability to independently execute projects, recommend improvements, and collaborate with stakeholders across the firm. This role is also responsible for applying AI tools and optimization techniques to improve content quality, workflow efficiency, and digital discoverability, while exercising sound judgment and adhering to professional responsibility standards. This is a hybrid position, requiring the Marketing Specialist to be in the office at least 3 days per week.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three (3) years of Marketing experience, preferably for a law firm or professional services organization
  • A track record of excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
  • Excellent attention to detail with superb proofreading skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume and diverse workload
  • Must have sound professional judgment and discretion when interacting with clients, potential clients, guests, coworkers, and others

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency with CMS platforms ( e.g. , WordPress), social media tools, and basic analytics
  • Familiarity with design tools ( e.g. , Adobe Creative Suite, Canva)
  • Experience with video editing and multimedia content creation
  • Practical experience using AI-powered marketing tools for content development, optimization, analytics, and workflow efficiency

Responsibilities

  • Creating and updating marketing materials, including brochures, digital ads, and presentations
  • Planning and executing multimedia marketing initiatives, including short-form videos, attorney interviews, webinars, podcasts, and photography
  • Planning, drafting, and publishing social media content and monitoring related performance
  • Evaluating and incorporating AI tools to accelerate content development, edit, refine and ensure accuracy, consistency of voice, and compliance with firm standards
  • Supporting branding consistency across all materials and campaigns
  • Recommending enhancements to improve effectiveness, clarity, and brand alignment
