About The Position

This is a hybrid opportunity (Tuesdays in Montreal office). Now is the time to bring your expertise to a W2 role for a Fortune 500 Solutions Integrator where success and fulfillment go hand in hand. As a Senior Marketing Specialist with Insight, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of assigned company events on time and within budget. They communicate with the business unit or person who requests the event, fully understanding the goals and objectives of the opportunity, and then execute all communications and tactics around it ensuring the objectives are met. Requirements

B.A. Degree (Major in Marketing or Communications preferred) including relevant work experiences.
3-5 years’ experience in managing events, trade shows or projects with multiple actions and timelines.
Extremely strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability for follow up.
Ability to work within a team environment including cross functional teams represented by other departments and/or companies.
Fluent in English & French

Nice To Haves

Prefer someone who has worked with no less than a $500k minimum annual budget and a cross-functional team of people.
Computer industry and knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

Managing all aspects of assigned company events on time and within budget.
Communicating with the business unit or person who requests the event, fully understanding the goals and objectives of the opportunity.
Executing all communications and tactics around the event ensuring the objectives are met.
Meeting with requestor of event to understand goals and objectives.
Negotiating and coordinating signing of event related contracts which are reviewed by Event Manager and signed by Vice President of Marketing.
Filling out creative request form completely and submitting to ensure the needs of the client are met.
Completing sell sheets and communicating back to PM.
