About The Position

The Marketing Specialist will lead the execution of the company’s global marketing strategy across the North and South American markets. This role is responsible for translating global brand positioning, campaigns, and messaging into locally relevant content and measurable marketing programs that resonate with customers in the food packaging industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in B2B marketing.
  • 5+ years of experience in developing content and executing KPI-driven lead-generation campaigns.
  • 5+ years of experience in creating sales enablement tools and commercial marketing materials.
  • 5+ years of experience in planning and managing trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B marketing for complex and technical products, preferably within engineering, packaging or manufacturing industries.
  • Experience working within a global matrix organization.
  • Experience collaborating with sales teams in a long-cycle, consultative, or technical B2B environment.
  • Understanding of customer journeys, buying processes and decision-making across food manufacturers, co-packers, packaging companies, equipment manufacturers, or technology related businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Localize global messaging to reflect regional customer needs, market conditions, and industry terminology.
  • Develop engaging content with the help of AI (text, video, photo) for regional and global marketing activities.
  • Develop and execute regional sales initiatives and campaigns to drive leads to support regional business objectives
  • Monitor campaign and event performance based on clear KPIs. Use data to optimize results and improve lead quality and conversion.
  • Coordinate, and manage trade shows, conferences, customer events, and industry meetings including event logistics, promotional materials, booth content, invitations, communications, and post-event follow-up.
  • Develop and maintain sales tools that support the customer buying journey, including presentations, brochures, battle cards, case studies, application materials, and other collateral.
  • Gather and communicate insights on North American market trends, customer priorities, competitor activity, industry developments, and emerging opportunities.
  • Partner with sales and product management teams to identify customer challenges, market opportunities, and content needs.
  • Use CRM data for in depth analysis.
  • Engage with industry associations such as PMMI.
