About The Position

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Marketing Specialist. The Marketing Specialist supports the marketing and outreach efforts through graphic design, social media assistance, event representation, and content creation for the department.

Requirements

• Degree-seeking undergraduate student with a minimum of six credit hours (or twelve if international) and a 2.5 GPA.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Adobe Suite, Canva, and Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube.

Responsibilities

• Design visually compelling flyers and graphic design of promotional materials.
• Representation at departmental tabling events and presentation events.
• Research promotional items and opportunities for Campus Recreation.
• Capture photos at Campus Recreation related events.
• Develop effective strategies for enhancing engagement via marketing materials and social media with considerations for target audiences (students, prospective students/parents, alumni, and the campus community).
• Collaborate with the Student Affairs Marketing Team on long-term projects, such as campaign strategy, and short-term projects, such as monitoring analytics.
• Leadership through various projects and larger campaigns or promotions.
• Explore Living in Palm Beach County: The goal is to provide local employers and new employees in the area a comprehensive guide with places to live.
