About The Position

Centralus Health is seeking a creative, driven Marketing Specialist to bring our brand to life across video, photography, events, and digital channels. This role is ideal for a versatile marketer who enjoys blending strategy with creativity and is excited to tell meaningful stories that connect with our communities. As part of our award‑winning Marketing and Communications team, you'll collaborate with clinical service lines, support departments, multi‑disciplinary physician practices, integrated provider networks, and six hospital foundations. Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing and Communication, this role offers opportunities to grow your skills and advance your career within a dynamic healthcare organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, a related field, or commensurate experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with the ability to turn ideas into polished, on‑brand visuals
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with an eye for clarity, consistency, and audience engagement
  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics and SEO platforms
  • Solid project management and organizational skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with major social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter), and how to tailor content for each

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in a dynamic or multi‑channel environment
  • Interest and experience in health equity, population health, social health determinants, and community partnerships
  • Photo and video production experience, including capturing, editing, and producing visual content for digital and promotional use
  • Hands‑on experience with content management systems such as WordPress
  • Knowledge of major social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.
  • Event experience, including planning, coordinating, and supporting marketing or community‑focused events

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Director and internal stakeholders to shape project scope and translate organizational priorities into impactful marketing initiatives
  • Design and deliver events that enhance community participation and visibility
  • Manage and coordinate community sponsorships to build meaningful local partnerships
  • Develop brand consistent content for various channels including but not limited to web, promotional materials, videos, photography, tradeshows, presentations, brochures, graphics, posters, product information sheets, etc. to achieve identified business goals
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Communications teammates to track projects, manage workflows, and bring ideas from concept to execution
  • Work with external writers, designers, and agencies as needed
  • Stay ahead of trends and proactively identify timely opportunities to elevate Centralus Health's voice, brand, and reach
