As our Marketing Specialist on the Business Insurance team, your primary responsibility is placement of Insurance programs for our Middle Market clients. This involves establishing and nourishing key underwriter relationships, analysis of current and future insurance needs, and working with the service team and production staff on placing specific programs for prospects and clients. In addition, the opportunity to get in front of prospects and Clients alongside the Production staff will be a key element of the position.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years property and casualty experience including strong knowledge of multiple coverage lines and risk management.
  • Detailed with excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills and high sense of urgency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to effectively build and maintain positive working relationships with management and peers.
  • Strong interpersonal and sales related skills in dealing with Producers, Account Executives, carriers and customers.
  • Proficiency in MS office applications required.

  • CIC, CPCU or equivalent preferred.
