A day in the life. As our Claims Specialist on the Business Insurance team, you’ll provide prompt, accurate and courteous service in accordance with prescribed claims and customer service requirements. Serve as an advocate for and liaison with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) involved in claim resolution. Knowledge in Workers Compensation, Automobile Liability, Property, and General Liability, required. The position does require face-to-face interaction with clients, service units, and insurance providers. The ability to communicate with our internal and external customers is our priority.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Six to ten years’ multi-line claims experience.
  • Valid MO Producer’s License Required (may be obtained post-hire).

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Risk Management or related field.
  • Three to five years’ commercial lines agency experience.
  • Specialty lines experience.
  • Ability to complete coverage and ERM (Mod) analysis preferred.
  • Multi-state jurisdictional experience is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Provide prompt, accurate and courteous service in accordance with prescribed claims and customer service requirements.
  • Serve as an advocate for and liaison with multiple stakeholders (internal and external) involved in claim resolution.
  • Handle claims related to Workers Compensation, Automobile Liability, Property, and General Liability.
  • Interact face-to-face with clients, service units, and insurance providers.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.
