About The Position

Dixon is looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our team in Chestertown, MD! This is a fully onsite position. The Print Marketing Specialist assists and collaborates with the Sr. Communications Supervisor and the Marketing Manager, as well as the divisions, in developing, coordinating, and implementing a media strategy that is primarily focused on print production and distribution, but also includes supporting functions for other marketing channels (Web & Social). The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a variety of marketing functions such as communications, advertising, and branding, and will be creative with an eye for detail and advanced knowledge of marketing software such as the Adobe suite.

Requirements

Must be able to get the most out of resources given
Thoroughness in accomplishing tasks, time management, and great organizational skills
Must be very comfortable with Google Docs, Google Sheets, CRM software, and Adobe Creative. A moderate level of proficiency is preferred.
Must be able to assist the team in planning and managing marketing campaigns and marketing calendars
Must take ownership of objectives and goals set for the role
Prior experience in a variety of marketing functions such as communications, advertising, and branding
Creative with an eye for detail
Advanced knowledge of marketing software such as the Adobe suite

Responsibilities

Work with the team to develop and maintain website content and manage social media accounts
Assist with creating print and digital marketing materials
Develop training materials for our Customer Relationship Management system
Assist with various marketing campaigns and special projects
