About The Position

The Marketing Specialist will find creative ways to build Talroo brands among prospective customers, manage reviews on social sites, respond to complaints and suggestions, and seek and promote online and offline opportunities to promote Talroo services across multiple channels. They will also post regularly to company accounts through Hubspot CRM, work with a graphic designer, measure post effectiveness, and respond to comments. Additionally, they will create a monthly email newsletter, manage and optimize paid media campaigns, support integrated email marketing campaigns, and manage various webinars, virtual conferences, in-person conferences, and sponsorships. For in-person conferences, this role will handle researching opportunities, reserving exhibit space, executing contracts, managing booth logistics, maintaining a calendar of deadlines, creating ads and signage, and submitting speaking proposals. The specialist will also maintain a calendar of business/industry/product awards and manage on-time submissions. They will work cross-functionally within marketing and with other departments to enhance the customer journey and ensure consistent messaging and brand identity. The role requires prioritizing and managing multiple projects simultaneously, following through on issues in a timely manner, and interfacing with staff, clients, and partners. The specialist will analyze performance against goals, make data-driven recommendations, and proactively communicate and report on performance. They will also stay up-to-date with market trends, industry insights, and emerging digital marketing tools, and build and maintain productive working relationships with all stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of successful marketing experience across a variety of functions, including demand generation, paid search, paid social, conference & webinar management, etc (preferably in a small tech environment)
  • Demonstrate high agency and sense of urgency to solve business challenges.
  • Naturally jump in, roll your sleeves up and own your work without being pushed.
  • Self-directed team player who thrives under pressure.
  • Proven dedication to constant learning and skills growth.
  • Proven track record of successful marketing initiatives relevant to the duties and functions listed above.
  • Superb written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a marketing-related area of study.
  • Selected candidate must reside in the greater Austin metro area to fulfill this position.

Responsibilities

  • Find creative ways to build Talroo brands among prospective customers.
  • Manage Reviews on social sites such as G2.
  • Respond to complaints and suggestions.
  • Seek and promote online and offline opportunities to promote Talroo services across multiple channels, such as podcasts, interviews, and speech engagements etc, or through creative company events.
  • Post regularly to company account through Hubspot CRM.
  • Work with graphic designer for proper image sizes, measure effectiveness of posts, and respond to comments.
  • Create a monthly email newsletter for our audience, including recent blog posts, infographics, news stories, and more through Hubspot.
  • Manage and optimize paid media campaigns in platforms such as LinkedIn, Google, and Meta, among others.
  • Support the strategy, execution, and management of integrated email marketing campaigns.
  • Manage various webinars, virtual conferences, in-person conferences, and sponsorships that Talroo is involved in.
