About The Position

North West Rubber is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join their Marketing team and support the success of their three business divisions. Founded in 1968, North West Rubber is a global leader in recycled rubber flooring and matting solutions, with products sold in over 50 countries across various industries. They are one of the world's largest rubber mat manufacturers with six facilities globally. Reporting to the Channel Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist will be instrumental in planning, executing, and coordinating marketing initiatives for product launches, brand growth, customer engagement, and lead generation.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, product marketing, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals and go-to-market strategies.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with exceptional planning, follow-through, and execution skills.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat) is an asset.
  • Experience with Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or other social media management platforms is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning and execution of trade shows, including registration, budgeting, staff planning, booth design, logistics, and post-show reporting.
  • Support the planning and tracking of marketing budgets, process invoices, monitor spend, and assist with monthly reporting.
  • Manage the social media content calendar and execution across multiple brands and platforms, including content creation, optimization, and performance tracking.
  • Support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns.
  • Support the planning, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns, including digital advertising, lead generation, product launches, and promotions.
  • Develop and maintain sales collateral, case studies, customer testimonials, and point-of-sale displays.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external agencies to maintain and update website content and digital assets.
  • Conduct competitive benchmarking, pricing analysis, and market research.
  • Coordinate product sample concepts, production, inventory, and distribution, along with marketing materials.
  • Support the planning and communication of ESG initiatives.
  • Provide reporting, project coordination, and administrative support to the Marketing team.
