About The Position

This role leads integrated marketing efforts for Institutional Asset Management (IAM), driving audience-focused campaigns, thought leadership, and multi-channel engagement to support business growth across key segments and capabilities. The Marketing Specialist Senior independently implements and manages defined marketing programs/initiatives, leveraging a strong comprehension of existing marketing strategies and driving execution of programs/initiatives. They develop and execute more complex marketing programs/initiatives, strategies and activities that may include advertising, sales content and internal communications. Proactively collects and synthesizes data in order to identify trends and helps identify strategic and tactical implications. Ensures all operating activities are delivered within the established budget framework and follows established processes and protocols including coordination with legal, compliance, finance, risk and other key partners. Partners with agencies, third parties and internal business partners to coordinate development and execution of programs/initiatives.

Requirements

  • University / college degree, with 2+ years of relevant professional experience. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.
  • Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years of B2B marketing experience – experience in financial services or investment management is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support primary audience segments and core capabilities by developing targeted campaigns that align with key business priorities, balancing product and audience-specific messaging.
  • Manage quarterly newsletters, prospecting and cross-sell email campaigns, and thought leadership content targeting segments such as insurers, healthcare organizations, unions, and retirement plan sponsors to drive new business and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Develop and execute LinkedIn promotions and social content, partnering with design teams to create templates and writing optimized copy that elevates thought leadership and engagement.
  • Own end-to-end execution of quarterly webinars, including topic development, registration setup, promotional strategy, and communications across internal and external channels.
  • Maintain the social and marketing calendars, coordinate with external vendors and agencies, and ensure all campaigns are reviewed and approved through the appropriate processes and partners.
  • Track campaign performance, analyze engagement data (e.g., email clicks, content interaction), and proactively recommend actionable improvements to enhance effectiveness and ROI.
