At the university, the Marketing and Communications function is responsible for enhancing and protecting the university’s reputation. The marketing function specifically leads through advertising and promotion, while developing governance, protocols and templates to uphold consistent, unified and effective marketing activities across campus. The Marketing Specialist, CEE Marketing is a professional marketing role responsible for planning, delivering and optimizing marketing initiatives that support Co-operative and Experiential Education priorities. The role applies specialized marketing knowledge and professional judgment to develop, implement and refine integrated marketing activities across campaigns, content, events, digital channels and audience engagement initiatives. Working within established marketing strategy, governance and standards, the role ensures marketing activities are coordinated, audience-focused and aligned with institutional positioning, brand frameworks and business objectives. Within CEE, the role independently plans and delivers integrated marketing initiatives that promote Waterloo's co-operative education and experiential learning programs. Collaborates and works closely with CEE stakeholders, the role develops and executes marketing campaigns and audience engagement initiatives that support prospective and current students, employers, partners and other audiences, while ensuring alignment with institutional marketing strategy, brand standards and CEE priorities.
