Summary: We are seeking a Marketing & Social Media Specialist to drive company-level sales growth and brand visibility within the clinical research industry. This role is focused on B2B marketing, lead generation, and social media strategies that support business development, partnerships, and sponsor relationships. The Marketing & Social Media Specialist will understand how to position a clinical research organization (CRO/site network) as a trusted, high-value partner and can translate complex scientific and operational services into compelling, sales-focused messaging across digital channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of experience in B2B marketing and/or social media management
  • Experience creating sales-focused marketing content
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn and professional social media platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines
  • Experience in clinical research, healthcare, life sciences, or biotech
  • Familiarity with CROs, clinical trial sites, or sponsor relationships
  • Experience supporting sales teams or business development initiatives
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics tools, CRM systems, or marketing automation platforms
  • Knowledge of healthcare or clinical research marketing within a regulated environment.
  • Understanding of multi-site brand management and consistent brand voice execution.
  • Proficiency in digital marketing channels (social media, email, SEO/SEM, paid campaigns).
  • Strong content creation skills including copywriting and basic visual/media collaboration.
  • Ability to analyze marketing metrics and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Project management skills to manage multiple campaigns across business units.
  • Effective cross-functional collaboration with operations, leadership, and support teams.
  • Familiarity with marketing platforms and tools (analytics, scheduling, design software).
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced, growth-oriented organization undergoing change.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that support company sales goals, including lead generation and brand positioning
  • Collaborate with Commercial leadership teams to create marketing assets that support business development efforts
  • Create sales enablement materials (one-pagers, presentations, case studies, pitch decks, capability summaries)
  • Track and optimize marketing campaigns to improve lead quality, conversion, and pipeline growth
  • Own and manage company social media presence (primarily LinkedIn; secondary platforms as appropriate)
  • Develop a content strategy focused on industry credibility and company expertise
  • Create and publish content highlighting: Pinnacle Clinical Research services, Sponsor/CRO partnerships, Company milestones and growth, Industry insights and trends
  • Monitor engagement, analyze performance metrics, and adjust strategy to support brand awareness and sales objectives
  • Translate clinical research concepts into clear, professional, sales-oriented messaging
  • Ensure consistent branding and voice across all digital platforms
  • Support website content updates related to services, capabilities, and value propositions
  • Maintain alignment with regulatory and compliance standards when publishing content
  • Track KPIs such as engagement, lead generation, website traffic, and campaign performance
  • Provide regular reports and insights to leadership on marketing ROI and growth impact
  • Recommend data-driven improvements to marketing and social strategies
  • Other duties as assigned.
