About The Position

Valatam is seeking a proactive Marketing & Community Specialist to serve as a core operational partner to their client. The role involves taking full ownership of marketing execution and community management, with the goal of revitalizing audience engagement and streamlining the content production pipeline. This position aims to free the client from day-to-day operational bottlenecks.

Requirements

Fluent English (C1/C2) and Spanish.
3+ years of experience in Marketing & Social Media.
Proven experience in community management and multi-channel content execution.
Proficiency with quick-turn video editing tools (CapCut and/or Descript).
Familiarity with leveraging AI/LLMs for copy optimization and descriptions.
Strong communication skills for cold outreach and guest coordination.
Quiet home office, stable internet (≥ 10 Mbps down / 2 Mbps up), and backup connection.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute engagement strategies to revitalize the client's community platform.
Monitor interactions to identify audience needs and content gaps.
Draft, repurpose, and distribute social marketing content across multiple channels.
Perform rough video edits (removing stutters/pauses) using tools like CapCut or Descript before final production.
Upload podcast episodes and YouTube videos, customizing templates with compelling hooks and LLM-generated descriptions.
Vet and schedule incoming guests and appearances.
Identify relevant industry podcasts and manage cold outreach via email or DMs to secure features.
Lead assigned marketing initiatives to ensure strict alignment with our brand.
