About The Position
RB Sushi is a busy independent sushi restaurant in Rancho Bernardo seeking a part-time, in-house Marketing & Social Media Coordinator. This role will focus on managing the restaurant's social media presence and local marketing efforts. The coordinator will be responsible for creating content, managing online profiles, designing promotional graphics, running paid ad campaigns, and providing monthly reports based on sales data. This is an on-site position, not remote.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of social media, content, or restaurant marketing experience
- Strong instinct for short-form video and food photography
- Canva fluency required
- Comfort with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads
- San Diego County resident
Nice To Haves
- Adobe proficiency is a plus
Responsibilities
- Filming TikTok and Instagram Reels at the restaurant (4-5 per week)
- Posting to TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook on a consistent schedule
- Managing Google Business Profile (weekly photos + specials, review responses)
- Managing Yelp profile
- Creating promotional graphics in Canva (happy hour, seasonal menus, gift cards)
- Running paid social ads on Google, Meta, TikTok, and Yelp
- Generating monthly reports based on Toast POS data
