Marketing Representative Pre Arrival
About The Position
An In House Marketing Representative Pre Arrival with Hilton Grand Vacations is responsible for the promotion of booking eligible vacation ownership presentations, previews and the sale of mini-vacation packages to guests and visitors who will be arriving soon to our resort locations. This role involves distributing approved promotional information and incentives, generating leads, and booking qualified vacation ownership sales presentations for prospective Hilton Grand Vacations Owners, Club Members and other qualified customers before they arrive at property locations via concierge phone call. The representative will also provide customer/concierge services, assist in marketing program implementation and tracking, and conduct pre-arrival calls to owners, renters, and exchangers. Additionally, they will ensure guests meet eligibility for gifts or promote courtesy tours, accurately document each tour, confirm appointments to maximize show rates, and provide location-related guest services. The role requires distributing only HGVC authorized information, maintaining operating standards, reviewing production reports, following gifting procedures, and contacting appropriate management with any guest issues or concerns. Checking availability to avoid overbooking tour waves and carrying out other reasonable requests from management are also key aspects of the position.
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of consumer sales/marketing experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and guest relations skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Great on the computer
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Must be highly driven and a self-starter
- Thorough understanding of local area
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and balance priorities.
- Ability to accept rejection in a proactive manner.
Responsibilities
- Distribute approved promotional information and incentives to guests that are Owners, RCI Exchangers, and Renters that meet eligibility qualifications determined by Marketing management.
- Generates leads and books qualified vacation ownership sales presentations for prospective Hilton Grand Vacations Owners, Club Members and other qualified customers before they arrive at property locations via concierge phone call.
- Provides customer/concierge services to all guests projecting a professional company image via phone.
- Assist in the implementation and tracking of current and future marketing programs.
- Conducts pre-arrival calls to owners, renters and exchangers.
- Ensures guests meet minimum eligibility for gifts as provided or promotes a courtesy tour.
- Is responsible for accurately and completely for each tour.
- Confirms appointments with guests to ensure tour reservations and driven maximize show rate.
- Provides location related guest service to resort guests and visitors, including directing guests to responsible resort services for specific assistance or information.
- Distributes only HGVC authorized information, collateral and materials.
- Maintains location operating standards
- Reviews production reports and notifies manager of any challenges.
- Follows gifting procedures to ensure costs are met monthly.
- Contacts appropriate management with any guest issues.
- Checks availability as to not overbook tour waves.
- Carries out all other reasonable requests by management of which one is capable of performing
