About The Position

As a Marketing Assistant, you will support the organization’s marketing services and technical teams in positioning the firm to win work and strengthen Olsson’s brand. This role supports our Data Centers, Telecom, Energy, and Industrial markets. You will contribute to a wide range of marketing activities by following established guidelines. Responsibilities may include supporting proposal development and interview strategies, coordinating conferences and client events, assisting with award submissions, gathering client insights, and conducting market research.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • The ability to contribute to and thrive within a collaborative team environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Writing/Journalism, or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe InDesign
  • A self-motivated mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strengths in technical writing, editing, creativity, and an eye for design

Responsibilities

  • Organize and produce content and materials for various marketing needs such as proposals, brochures, and presentations while following the brand guidelines.
  • Communicates proactively and meets deadlines for the timely completion of project pursuits and proposals.
  • Assists with research, coordination, and/or facilitation of client engagement activities.
  • Supports proposal preparation, which may include gathering, verifying, and organizing key information.
  • Assembles information relevant to interview strategy and qualifications documentation.
  • Maintains marketing information systems, including client files, resumes, project descriptions, and mailing lists.
  • Provides support in analyzing and sharing client intelligence information.
  • Researches target markets and potential clients to support strategic marketing efforts.
  • Contributes to the writing and preparation of award submissions.
