The Marketing Project Manager is responsible for overall oversight of Marketing team deliverables, managing overall high level timelines and managing expectations of key internal clients. The job entails driving the successful delivery of marketing projects, stakeholder and resource management across a portfolio of various projects ranging from creative services, content creation, events, digital marketing, and advertising/marketing. This role coordinates internal resources and outside vendors to deliver projects according to each engagement's defined scope, and works directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget. The manager will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible, and will hire new talent as needed to fulfill client needs. The ideal candidate is a creative and dedicated individual who will fit with our collaborative culture. Responsibilities also include developing and producing financial and management reports, analyzing new program/project proposals, evaluating intake, analyzing performance of existing programs, developing business plan projections for proposed programs, and developing methodologies for tracking and reporting progress and performance of projects/programs. The role is split into Program Management (25%), Project Management (50%), and Budget & ROI Management (25%). Program Management involves leading and managing process improvement, owning overall coordination of marketing team projects related to the overall program, ensuring alignment with overall marketing program, projects and priorities, building out project plans for team-wide transparency and high visibility across the Marketing department, and documenting program learnings for incorporation into future standard work processes. Project Management includes supporting and managing marketing initiatives, interfacing with project sponsors and working across multiple teams, acting as a driver for projects accountable for end-to-end completion, communicating project status to internal team, clients, and vendors, managing review and approval processes, meeting with clients to ascertain scope of work and clarify specific requirements, delegating project tasks internally and externally, tracking project/campaign performance, and developing comprehensive project plans. Budget & ROI Management involves meeting budgetary objectives and making adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis, and developing detailed, multi-year business plan information for proposed programs including goals, specific actions, timelines, metrics and measures for on-going tracking, investment requirement, and economic performance over time.
