About The Position

Anatta is a Shopify Platinum Partner and enterprise commerce consultancy with 18 years of experience engineering replatforms, integrations, and growth systems for brands. They are defining a new category with the Anatta Agentic Operating System, which orchestrates AI agents and human judgment to accelerate delivery work. This role is responsible for executing all marketing initiatives at Anatta, including content, search, advertising, website, automation, campaigns, and events, by integrating them into a connected system. The primary goal is to bridge the gap between experimenting with AI and operating on it, by designing and running an intelligent marketing operating system where AI handles volume work and humans focus on judgment and quality. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that involves building workflows, administering the tech stack, launching campaigns, analyzing data, and fixing issues. The role requires leveraging automation and AI to absorb repetitive tasks, allowing human time to focus on judgment, creativity, and growth. The Marketing Operations Manager will also set the standard for AI usage within the marketing function and train colleagues. This role directly manages a Content Strategist and Creative, and collaborates daily with Sales, Business Development, Strategy, and Engineering.

  • Hands-on experience with prompt engineering and with AI-assisted content production at volume.
  • Proven experience administering large marketing automation platforms and CRM systems and integrating them with other business systems.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, and of how answer engines and AI assistants source and cite content.
  • Experience managing paid media budgets and campaigns.
  • Strong analytical skills: database structures, data hygiene, analytics and attribution; ability to draw insight from marketing data and act on it.
  • Understanding of lead scoring, nurturing, segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle management.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects with technical and strategic components to tight deadlines.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication; able to translate technical concepts for non-technical colleagues.
  • Familiarity with GDPR and other relevant data-protection regulation.

  • Experience in a B2B services, consultancy, or agency environment selling to enterprise buyers.
  • Familiarity with the Shopify ecosystem or enterprise ecommerce.
  • Experience managing a direct report or a small content team.
  • Formal training in AI-first marketing systems (e.g. executive education in intelligent marketing operating systems) is a plus.
  • Experience running events end to end.

Responsibilities

  • Run the content production system with the Content Strategist, including AI-assisted drafting, human editing, practitioner review, publication, and refresh.

  • Own the entity layer to ensure Anatta's facts are consistent across all third-party platforms.
  • Run monthly AI-citation checks across major assistants and Google AI Overviews to track citations and AI answer accuracy.

  • Plan, build, QA, launch, and optimize paid search and paid social campaigns against qualified-opportunity definitions.
  • Manage advertising budgets, pacing, and landing-page performance, aligning paid keywords with the organic plan.
  • Own the website as a product, managing conversion paths, forms, lead routing, page speed, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, analytics, and consent.
  • Prioritize and ship a continuous improvement backlog with Engineering and Creative, measuring every change.
  • Build, optimize, and maintain automation workflows for lead generation, nurture, lifecycle progression, segmentation, scoring, routing, and campaign execution.
  • Ensure data integrity across the contact database, using AI for enrichment, normalization, deduplication, and segmentation.
  • Maintain attribution models and the marketing ROI dashboard, delivering weekly web and pipeline reports.
  • Support revenue goals with lead scoring, sales alerts, and signal exports to the sales team.
  • Define, with Sales, how AI-assisted and human outbound work together, and monitor their performance and data integrity.
  • Own operational execution of integrated campaigns end-to-end across various channels.
  • Plan and coordinate Anatta's event presence, including logistics, budget, pre/post campaigns, and pipeline follow-through.
  • Set goals and benchmarks for every program before launch and report against them after.
