About The Position

Marketing is being reinvented by AI, and this role is central to that transformation. Sidetrade is seeking an AI-first Marketing Operations Lead to design, build, and orchestrate an intelligent, automated marketing engine. This is not a traditional Marketing Ops role; the successful candidate will reimagine marketing operations using AI, leveraging LLMs (Claude), automation, and data to create a high-performance, self-optimizing growth system. The role sits at the intersection of marketing, data, and AI, owning the architecture that powers the go-to-market strategy. The mission is to maximize leverage by replacing manual work with automation, accelerating execution, and unlocking insights at scale. This position offers the opportunity to build a next-generation marketing engine from the ground up, shaping how Sidetrade scales growth with intelligence, automation, and speed. Requirements

  • 5+ years in Marketing Operations within a B2B SaaS or technology company
  • Expert-level Marketo (or HubSpot/Pardot) and Salesforce CRM experience
  • Hands-on experience with AI tools in a marketing context (content, scoring, automation, or analytics)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in funnel reporting and attribution modelling
  • Experience managing Martech integrations (APIs, Zapier, and third-party platforms)
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email and landing page customization
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Nice To Haves

  • Marketo Certified Expert or equivalent certification
  • Experience with ABM platforms (6sense, Demandbase, or Terminus)
  • Familiarity with SQL or BI tools (Tableau, Looker)
  • Background in revenue operations or cross-functional GTM alignment

Responsibilities

  • Own and optimize the full Martech stack (Marketo, Salesloft, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and adjacent tools)
  • Embed AI tools into marketing workflows to automate tasks, improve personalization, and surface insights faster
  • Manage lead lifecycle: scoring, routing, MQL handoff, and revenue attribution in partnership with sales, marketing, and BDRs
  • Build, execute, and optimize campaigns including email nurture, webinars, events, and landing pages
  • Maintain database hygiene, segmentation, and compliance (GDPR/CCPA)
  • Deliver dashboards and reporting on funnel performance, campaign ROI, and pipeline contribution
  • Evaluate and onboard new tools; manage vendor relationships and renewals
  • Partner with sales, demand gen, and RevOps to align on shared goals and seamless handoffs
