About The Position

This is a 6-month (January 4th - June 25th, 2027) paid co-op experience at Klaviyo's Boston, MA headquarters. All co-op students are required to work onsite 5 days per week. As a Marketing Operations Co-op, you will immerse yourself in the technical, systems, and processes aspects of marketing. You will work alongside experts to understand how to manage the intersection of strategy, process, and technology. This role offers hands-on experience with marketing tools, skill development, and networking opportunities with professionals in marketing, systems, and sales departments.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate student graduating in May 2029 pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working with large datasets and data analysis in Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Detail-oriented, with a passion for standardization and building repeatable processes (SOPs).
  • Strong interest in marketing operations, data analysis, data privacy and/or marketing technologies.
  • Have experience building with AI tools and technologies (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) to make processes more efficient and scalable.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • An innovative and creative thinker with an always-learning and growing mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or familiarity in marketing automation tooling.
  • Have worked with HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, LeanData, Snowflake or Klaviyo before.
  • Have experience with Tableau.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the standardization, execution, and monitoring of marketing campaigns across various channels, including email, events, content syndication, and digital advertising.
  • Support data integrity and standardization activities to maintain accurate and up-to-date marketing databases.
  • Help prepare and automate marketing reports and dashboards to track activity performance and key metrics.
  • Document marketing processes, best practices, and standard operating procedures.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, content, design, and product, to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute ideas and insights for continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a system admin for HubSpot and other systems, supporting configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Own the Marketing Ops wiki and enablement library.
  • Support the development of SOPs and enablement materials for internal and external audiences.
  • Own the BRD (Business Requirements Document) process.
