About The Position

As an Operations & Manufacturing Co-Op, you'll work alongside manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, and operations teams to help optimize the systems, processes, and workflows that drive production. During this six-month co-op beginning Spring 2027, you'll gain hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, lean principles, continuous improvement, operational excellence, and data-driven decision making while contributing to projects that improve efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery. You'll receive mentorship from experienced professionals, collaborate across functions, expand your professional network, and have opportunities to share your work and recommendations with leadership. This is an opportunity to apply what you've learned in the classroom, strengthen your problem-solving skills, and see how data-driven decisions translate into real operational results.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Expected graduation date of 2027 or 2028.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Interest in manufacturing, operations, supply chain, process improvement, or project management.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
• Experience with or interest in data analysis and problem-solving.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Supply Chain concepts, Manufacturing Analytics, or process improvement methodologies is a plus.
• You're curious and enjoy finding better ways to solve problems.

• You communicate effectively and collaborate well across teams.
• You enjoy using data to uncover insights and drive decisions.
• You've demonstrated leadership through internships, research, student organizations, design teams, athletics, or other extracurricular activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project management efforts across operations and manufacturing.
• Support process development efforts that enhance efficiency, quality, productivity, and operational performance.
• Analyze operational and production data to identify trends and inform decision-making.
• Partner with engineering, supply chain, and production teams on cross-functional projects.
• Help address day-to-day manufacturing and operational challenges.
• Participate in Lean, Continuous Improvement, and Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Evaluate workflows to identify opportunities for greater efficiency and consistency.
• Share project findings and recommendations with key stakeholders.
