About The Position

Restaurant Associates is looking for a Marketing & Merchandising Manager who can make a corporate dining café feel like a destination, a seasonal promotion feel like an event, and a menu board feel like an invitation. This role is for a creative, operationally sharp marketer to help bring Restaurant Associates' elevated corporate cafés, dynamic food halls, curated retail dining, and best-in-class catering operations to life for a busy national portfolio, based in NYC. The ideal candidate is guest experience obsessed, enjoys executing seasonal campaigns, and can transition from concept brainstorming to plan building seamlessly. This role serves as the link between local dining operations teams and corporate marketing, translating strategy into execution and using consumer insights to create impactful campaigns and activations.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in marketing or merchandising within hospitality, food & beverage, or retail.
  • A track record of creative execution backed by operational discipline.
  • Strong design sensibility.
  • Clean and compelling writing skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities without letting anything slip through the cracks.
  • Comfortable presenting to a client and rolling up sleeves to get a café set up for a seasonal launch.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint in particular).
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field is preferred, though equivalent professional experience is welcomed.

Responsibilities

  • Developing seasonal promotions.
  • Building merchandising programs.
  • Designing collateral.
  • Managing a monthly marketing calendar in close collaboration with culinary, operations, and client teams.
  • Creating and overseeing digital and printed menus, signage, kiosk and mobile app visuals, and marketing templates that reflect premium brand standards.
  • Developing merchandising guidelines and planograms for food, beverage, and retail spaces.
  • Managing vendor communications and the ordering process for merchandising elements, smallwares, uniforms, and signage fixtures.
  • Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on marketing campaign performance, sharing insights with operations, corporate marketing, and clients.
  • Contributing to annual business planning.
  • Supporting new account openings and transitions.
  • Leading monthly marketing meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Staying ahead of emerging trends in hospitality, retail, design, and consumer behavior.
