Microsoft•Redmond, WA
•$130,900 - $272,300

About The Position

The Marketing Measurement & Strategy Lead owns measurement for Microsoft Advertising Marketing, defining, implementing, and maintaining a shared framework across Brand, Events, Customer & Partner, and Growth Marketing. The role establishes consistent KPI definitions and connects leadership-level measures to functional and campaign-level metrics so teams can assess marketing’s contribution to business outcomes using common standards and data. Working within the MSA Marketing Strategy, Growth & Operations team, this senior individual contributor partners with Marketing, Marketing Science, Sales, Finance, Product, and Engineering. The role sets requirements for attribution, incrementality testing, and media mix modeling; oversees implementation across data pipelines, tagging, and reporting; aligns measurement assumptions with Finance; and leads organization-wide adoption and change management without direct reports. The position is the single point of accountability for marketing measurement, including KPI definitions, methods, data sources, governance, and analytics dashboards. Dashboard responsibilities include coupon and promotional offer performance, such as distribution, redemption, revenue contribution, and return on investment. The role translates complex findings into executive-ready recommendations about priorities, optimization, and investment, while maintaining privacy-first measurement and data quality and compliance standards. During the first 12 months, the role is expected to publish and drive adoption of the framework across the four marketing areas, launch core KPI and coupon performance dashboards with consistent definitions, and agree with Finance on measurement and incrementality approaches for planning and investment decisions. The framework will continue to evolve as business priorities, channels, and AI-driven measurement capabilities change.
