Marketing Manager

Zumper
•$80,000 - $110,000•Remote

About The Position

Zumper helps multifamily marketers stay visible wherever renters search, and we’re looking for a Marketing Manager to help us bring that story to more of them. As a core member of a small marketing team, you’ll be a hands-on generalist working across events, content, social media, sales enablement, campaigns, and marketing operations. You’ll partner closely with our Sales, Customer Success, and Product teams to get work out the door and keep projects on track. It’s a great fit for an organized, curious marketer who loves variety and wants to see their work show up everywhere, from a conference booth to a sales deck to a customer’s inbox. This role reports to our Director, Marketing.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of marketing experience, ideally in B2B Martech, SaaS or at a startup. You like days that bounce between event logistics, campaign launches, and collateral updates
  • Highly organized with a sharp eye for detail. You know where every asset lives, what’s due this week, and what’s about to slip before anyone else does
  • A strong writer with range. You write with specifics instead of filler, and you can shift your voice for a LinkedIn post, a one-pager, or an email to a property management executive
  • Experienced with events. You’ve helped pull off conferences or trade shows; you know what it takes to get the booth, the logistics, and the follow-up right, and you’re up to travel up to 25% during busy season (May - October)
  • Comfortable with the marketing toolkit. You’ve worked in HubSpot (or a similar marketing automation platform), Canva, and social scheduling tools, and you’re at home in spreadsheets for list building and reporting
  • Curious and hands-on with AI. You use AI tools to move faster on research, first drafts, and campaign analysis, and you know when a draft still needs a human edit before it goes out
  • Self-directed and collaborative. You do your best work remotely, ask good questions early, and keep partners in Sales and Product in the loop without being asked

Nice To Haves

  • Bonus points for experience in proptech, multifamily, or real estate marketing

Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate logistics for our industry conferences, trade shows, and customer events, from registrations, vendors, and booth materials to on-site support and post-event follow-up that gets leads to Sales quickly
  • Support content development, from researching industry trends, competitors, and customer stories to drafting blog posts, newsletters, and case studies with a clear, specific point of view
  • Manage day-to-day social media on LinkedIn and our other channels, including scheduling posts, keeping the content calendar full, engaging with our community, and tracking what resonates
  • Maintain and update sales collateral and marketing materials, including one-pagers, pitch decks, product sheets, and email templates, so our Sales team always has accurate, current versions as our products and messaging evolve
  • Help execute email and paid campaigns, including building and segmenting audience lists, coordinating outreach lists with Sales, setting up and checking campaigns before launch, and reporting on results
  • Keep marketing projects, assets, and priorities organized and moving forward, from managing timelines and our asset library to making sure the team knows what’s due and what’s at risk
