About The Position

Woodward Design + Build, a leader in the design and construction industry for over 100 years, is seeking an energetic and talented Marketing Manager to join their New Orleans headquarters. This role supports the Marketing Director in developing digital and print communications, marketing materials, and graphics to advance the company's strategic goals and reinforce its leadership position. The ideal candidate is action-oriented, detail-obsessed, and adept at managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position primarily supports the Business Development and Preconstruction teams, collaborates with Human Resources on employee engagement, and assists Operations with project branding. Requirements

  • Five (5) or more years of marketing, communications, or related experience within a professional business environment; experience in professional services preferred, with Architecture, Engineering, Construction (AEC), Construction Management, or Commercial Real Estate industries highly desirable
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Demonstrated professional copywriting and business writing experience required
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel, required
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, balance competing deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team

  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel locally for project photography, proposal deliveries, client meetings, industry events, and other business-related activities as needed

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of high-quality, deadline-driven proposals, qualifications packages, presentations, and other business development materials.
  • Coordinate and produce proposals, qualifications packages, interview presentations, and other pursuit-related materials.
  • Develop compelling layouts, graphics, and written content that align with Woodward's brand standards.
  • Collaborate with technical staff, business development leaders, and executive leadership to gather information and develop winning proposal strategies.
  • Coordinate proposal schedules, delivery requirements, and submission deadlines.
  • Publish, assemble, and deliver final proposal packages in compliance with client requirements.
  • Maintain proposal resources, resumes, project sheets, and other marketing collateral.
  • Develop graphics and content for the firm's website, social media platforms, email campaigns, advertisements, and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate with project teams and department leaders to identify company news, project milestones, and employee achievements for marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with the development and distribution of email marketing campaigns.
  • Design advertisements, sponsorship materials, brochures, presentations, and other branded collateral.
  • Ensure consistency of the Woodward brand across all external marketing communications.
  • Maintain and update company websites, including project profiles, employee biographies, service descriptions, and news content.
  • Coordinate professional photography and maintain the firm's marketing image library.
  • Assist with internal communications and employee engagement initiatives, including newsletters and company events.
  • Coordinate promotional items, branded apparel, signage, and marketing materials.
  • Organize and maintain marketing files, templates, databases, and other department resources.
  • Perform other marketing and administrative duties as assigned.
