About The Position

We are seeking a Marketing Manager to lead Komline’s market strategy and channel enablement efforts. This role will own messaging, campaigns, and content targeting municipalities, consulting engineers, and manufacturer representatives, while translating Komline’s technical capabilities into clear, market-relevant value propositions. This is a market-facing role that works closely with sales, channel partners, and engineering teams to drive demand, strengthen our position with consulting engineers, and improve effectiveness of our manufacturer representative network. This is a full-time, in-person position located in our Washington, DC - Dupont Circle office. Agencies and contractors will not be considered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in a business-to-business environment
  • Strong understanding of multi-channel campaign development, e.g., email, print, social and digital advertising, SEO/SEM
  • Portfolio of interactive campaigns, e.g., theme, design, content, and ROI
  • Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong communication, collaborative mindset, and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Primary work location must be in the Washington DC or Peapack NJ Komline office.
  • Ability to travel domestically averaging 25%

Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive marketing strategies for municipal market segments, including municipalities, local government entities, consulting engineers, and channel partners
  • Define messaging, positioning, and value proposition for municipal solutions
  • Develop Commercial Insights relevant to municipal customers and engineering firms
  • Act as the voice of the market by engaging with customers, reps, and engineers
  • Monitor emerging trends and the competitive landscape to refine marketing strategy, positioning and messaging.
  • Build and deploy marketing programs that support manufacturer reps and channel partners
  • Develop sales enablement tools, e.g., presentations, case studies, application guides, etc.
  • Improve how Rep firms position Komline solutions in the field
  • Lead development of targeted campaigns aligned to municipal priorities
  • Create key content (case studies, application briefs, technical content)
  • Work closely with sales, engineering, and product teams
  • Ensure messaging reflects real capabilities and customer outcomes
  • Manage the budget for all integrated campaigns, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and strong return on investment
