About The Position

Valve+Meter is seeking a Marketing Manager who is a strategic thinker, team player, and relentless executor. This role involves owning the transformational growth of clients by managing relationships, advocating for their success, and ensuring marketing investments yield measurable results. The Marketing Manager will lead, challenge, and grow client initiatives, acting as a bridge between clients, strategy, and execution. They will serve as a trusted advisor, a driver of opportunity, and a source of insight, guidance, and action. As an Account Marketing Manager within the Client Success team, this role is crucial for client growth. The individual will be a dedicated advocate for clients, connecting daily operations to broader business objectives. Responsibilities include leading strategic initiatives, executing campaign reviews, and collaborating across departments to exceed client goals.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years in account management or client-facing role
  • 3–5 years in digital marketing (SEO, Paid Media, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Data analysis & interpretation skills
  • Experience in an agency or performance-driven environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing marketing budgets and interpreting performance
  • Familiarity with business metrics (CAC, LTV, pipeline, margin, etc.)
  • Background in sales or comfort discussing investment and ROI
  • Experience with time-tracking to clients/projects

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic partner for your client portfolio
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships built on trust, communication, and performance
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver integrated performance marketing campaigns
  • Execute and lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) with client stakeholders
  • Monitor marketing performance, analyze client scorecards, and translate data into insights
  • Identify growth opportunities through upsell and cross-sell strategies
  • Advocate for strategic marketing decisions aligned with client business goals
  • Negotiate agreement renewals and support long-term client retention
  • Coordinate and facilitate client meetings (weekly, monthly, quarterly)
