About The Position

The Marketing Manager plays a key leadership role within the Marketing Department and is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of integrated marketing initiatives that support Avant Destinations' business objectives. Reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, this individual will lead the day-to-day operations of the marketing team while ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and aligned with company goals. This role serves as the primary manager of the internal creative and marketing team, ensuring projects, priorities, resources, and deliverables are aligned with organizational objectives and brand standards. The Marketing Manager will be an experienced people leader with a comprehensive understanding of modern marketing disciplines, including digital marketing, email marketing, content strategy, brand management, analytics, reporting, print marketing, and campaign execution. This role requires a highly organized, confident, and collaborative professional who can effectively manage multiple projects, departments, and stakeholders while leading a team of creative and marketing professionals. The successful candidate will possess exceptional communication, writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality across all marketing deliverables. Working within the B2B travel industry, this position is responsible for overseeing the Avant Destinations brand and managing the development and execution of marketing campaigns from concept through completion. The successful candidate will be comfortable presenting ideas, interpreting creative briefs and business objectives, and translating strategic goals into measurable marketing initiatives. They will be equally comfortable providing strategic direction to internal teams, evaluating campaign performance, and ensuring all marketing communications align with brand voice, business objectives, and audience needs.

  • Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns that incorporate social, digital, email, content, and print channels
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum 8+ years of progressive marketing experience with at least 5+ years in a direct people-management role
  • Demonstrated experience leading integrated marketing campaigns from strategy through execution and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of marketing analytics, KPI reporting, and performance measurement
  • Experience managing creative teams and working with designers, copywriters, content creators, and marketing coordinators
  • Experience with email marketing platforms, marketing automation, and CRM systems
  • Advanced proficiency in HubSpot required
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the Marketing Department, ensuring alignment with company objectives and marketing strategies
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop members of the internal marketing and creative team, including coordinators, copywriters, designers, content specialists, and external contractors as required
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, email, content, social media, print, and partner marketing channels
  • Oversee campaign execution from strategy development through implementation, optimization, reporting, and post-campaign analysis
  • Ensure consistency and integrity of the Avant Destinations brand across all marketing channels and customer touchpoints
  • Manage team priorities, workloads, and performance to ensure marketing objectives are achieved efficiently and effectively
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable marketing plans and creative briefs
  • Manage campaign timelines, project priorities, workflows, and resource allocation to ensure efficient team performance
  • Analyze campaign performance using marketing analytics and reporting tools to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and provide actionable recommendations based on KPIs
  • Oversee email marketing strategy, execution, segmentation, automation, and performance measurement
  • Work closely with sales, product, and leadership teams to support business development and partner engagement initiatives
  • Lead marketing presentations, campaign reviews, and planning sessions with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure marketing projects and deliverables are completed on schedule and meet established quality standards
  • Manage departmental processes and workflows using project management tools and marketing platforms
  • Support the Director of Marketing in annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic initiatives
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices within both marketing and the travel industry
  • Oversee the strategic planning and execution of social media and video marketing initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall marketing objectives and brand standards
  • Evaluate campaign performance across social media and digital platforms and provide recommendations for optimization and growth
  • Review, edit, and approve marketing content to ensure consistency, accuracy, brand alignment, and adherence to company messaging standards
  • Oversee and manage internal and external marketing initiatives from conception through completion
  • Foster a collaborative, positive, and high-performing team environment
  • Build strong relationships with internal departments, industry partners, and key stakeholders
  • Review and approve marketing materials to ensure brand consistency, accuracy, and effectiveness
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify solutions to challenges and roadblocks
  • Establish and improve marketing processes that increase efficiency, productivity, and campaign effectiveness
  • Provide leadership and guidance during campaign planning, creative development, and execution phases

  • Experience managing marketing KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting for executive leadership
  • Maintain and uphold brand voice, tone, and messaging standards across all marketing communications
  • Assist with the development, management, and tracking of departmental and campaign budgets
  • Participate in cross-functional planning meetings and strategic business discussions
