About The Position

The Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing all marketing functions across multiple offices, supporting the Marketing Director's goals and initiatives, and managing the marketing budget. Key responsibilities include strategizing with stakeholders for new and existing clients, leading RFP/RFQ proposal efforts from initiation to submission, and ensuring adherence to response guidelines. This role involves crafting creative responses, developing interview content, coaching teams, and leading document layout and design for various presentations. The manager will also create unique digital and printed content for project pursuit and branding, maintain staff resumes, coordinate with outside consultants, and archive support materials. Additional duties include leading market research, understanding industry trends, maintaining client and project data in the CRM, reviewing team deliverables, mentoring staff, participating in industry organizations, and planning marketing events and client engagements. The position also involves managing marketing merchandise, client gifts, and ensuring consistent brand standards across all company materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or English
  • 10+ years of AEC marketing experience
  • 3 – 5 years of experience leading a team
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Suite
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint required)
  • Advanced technical writing, proofreading, editing and graphic design
  • Advanced knowledge of digital marketing (SEO and Google Analytics required)
  • Verifiable work references
  • Successful completion of post-offer background & drug screens
  • Ability to visit a construction site at any time (position is safety sensitive)
  • In person, regular attendance required

  • Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM)
  • Advanced knowledge of standard Marketing and Business Development software, Hootsuite and WordPress preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manages marketing functions across all offices
  • Supports developing marketing budget
  • Supports goals and initiatives of the Marketing Director
  • Strategize with key stakeholders to develop marketing strategies for new and existing clients
  • Assist Preconstruction with government and client forms, and qualifying statements
  • Assign all RFP/RFQ to marketing staff
  • Lead RFP/RFQ proposal efforts from pursuit initiation through submission
  • Lead, coordinate and craft creative RFP/RFQ responses to develop interview content and coach teams
  • Ensure adherence to RFP/RFQ response guidelines
  • Lead document layout and design for written and visual content for project interviews and external presentations
  • Develop unique digital content and printed materials for project pursuit and branding
  • Ensure staff resumes are up to date and tailored for project proposals
  • Coordinate with outside consultants on interview preparation
  • Maintain and archive project interview support material for future use
  • Lead market research to support quality competitive pursuit strategy and planning
  • Understand and share industry data trends
  • Maintain key client and project data
  • Ensure maintenance of accurate and current data in the CRM
  • Review team member deliverables for consistency, relevancy, accuracy, and aesthetics
  • Mentors and trains marketing staff
  • Actively participates in industry and community organizations to support business development initiatives
  • Lead and plan internal and external marketing related events, trade shows and client engagements
  • Management of all marketing merchandise and tradeshow assets
  • Manages client gift process
  • Ensure brand standards are met and consistent across all company materials
