About The Position

At NACM Connect, the largest regional trade association in the commercial credit and collections industry for the National Association of Credit Management, we are on the lookout for a vibrant Marketing Manager to lead a team of marketing professionals and manage projects directly yourself from our Hoffman Estates, IL office. The Marketing Manager role is pivotal in enhancing our brand presence and empowering both our marketing staff to produce deliverables that exceed our company objectives and our members to excel as credit professionals.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to research and create industry-related content and copy for marketing collateral and publications.
  • Experience working with ContentStudio, Sprout Social, Hootsuite or similar social media management platforms
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on Adobe Express, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Strong graphic design skills for both digital and print content.
  • Experience with digital photography, video editing and coordinating meeting technology (Zoom, etc.).
  • Experience working with and updating WordPress-based Websites built with page builders/themes such as Divi, Elementor, etc.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • At least (5) five years of experience in a similar management role.
  • Experience in Social Media, Graphic Design, Marketing, Content Creation and Community Management: (3) three years (Required).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with other content creation software (Canva, etc.) is a plus.
  • Online portfolio (preferred).
  • Degree in Marketing, Journalism or Visual Arts (Preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Lead the marketing team to conceptualize and produce innovative strategies, campaigns and deliverables that resonate with our audience.
  • Maintain and oversee the marketing calendar, ensuring timely execution of all initiatives including managing the creation of engaging digital newsletters, print magazines, and social media posts that keep our members informed.
  • Analyze social media metrics, extracting insights to evaluate campaign effectiveness and inform future strategies.
  • Write and edit a variety of marketing collateral, including white papers, brochures, website content, and press releases, with a focus on SEO best practices.
  • Produce and edit informative podcasts and videos that highlight industry trends, insights, and member stories, providing valuable content for our audience.
  • Manage the content, design and technical aspects of the NACM Connect website, ensuring a user-friendly experience and seamless navigation.
  • Coordinate event photography and videography to capture and document all activities, showcasing our initiatives and member engagement.
  • Support webinars by assisting with scripting, technical setup, and participant engagement, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for all attendees.
