About The Position

Vanguard Renewables, based in Weston, Massachusetts, is a national leader in environmental services and the development of food and dairy waste-to-renewable energy projects. The Company builds, owns, and operates on-farm anaerobic digestion facilities and is continuing to scale through an extensive national expansion. It is committed to advancing decarbonization by reducing greenhouse gas emissions from farms and food waste, generating renewable energy, and supporting regenerative agriculture on partner farms. The Marketing Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and managing marketing initiatives that support Vanguard Renewables’ business objectives, with a focus on renewable natural gas (RNG). This role partners closely with internal stakeholders across both the Marketing and Commercial teams to design marketing strategy and deliver compelling marketing programs, content, and communications that advance the company’s growth and brand.

Requirements

  • Experience in creating and deploying B2B marketing strategy, particularly through close collaboration with sales teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Creative problem-solver with a data-driven mindset.
  • Knowledge of social media program development and platform algorithms
  • Experience using e-communications platforms (e.g., Constant Contact or similar tools)
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in the energy sector is a plus
  • Experience with CRM and marketing platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with CMO and RNG team to develop and execute a strategic marketing roadmap aligned with business priorities.
  • Serve as the primary marketing liaison for RNG team, acting as the connective tissue between the Marketing and Commercial groups.
  • Define and drive messaging and thought leadership for the RNG business; craft & develop compelling stories, content and tools (e.g. presentations, whitepapers, infographics, webinars, customer success stories, product videos.) that land our RNG value proposition
  • Own content strategy and digital marketing campaign execution for key communication channels including website, blog, social, and paid advertising
  • Plan and execute RNG marketing initiatives at industry events
  • Collaborate with Government Relations team to monitor and understand industry policy developments
  • Partner with CMO and Director of Communications to plan and execute brand marketing initiatives
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to support ad hoc content development and participation in trade shows and industry events as needed
