About The Position

4 Entertainment Group (4EG) is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Marketing Manager for their OTR office. This role is responsible for competitively positioning the company's brands and supporting bars outside of Cincinnati, including markets like Columbus, OH, and Naples, FL. The primary goal is to enhance neighborhoods by creating enjoyable guest experiences for gathering, eating, and drinking. 4EG is a privately held company that owns and manages a diverse portfolio of establishments, each known for exceptional service, quality, and atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Proven results in driving traffic and revenue.
  • Proven skills and experience in social media, basic understanding of print design and production, ability to provide creative direction and written copy for execution, and event planning.
  • Ability to work under time pressures and defined financial limits to produce quality events and materials.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive, productive relationships with a diverse group of management teams, staff and 4EG vendors.
  • Must be an effective team coach with emphasis on culture leadership and commitment to company standards of excellence.
  • Compliance with all company technology requirements.
  • Availability for evening and weekend work as job duties/deadlines demand, to attend and execute promotional/special events.
  • Must be willing and able to travel, including nights and weekends.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related degree.
  • 3-4 years of experience in marketing, events, and/or communications/public relations.
  • 1-2 years of experience in supervisory role.
  • Strong portfolio.
  • Some graphic design experience preferred.
  • Hospitality industry knowledge or experience a plus, previous work in a bar or restaurant strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of locations external to the Cincinnati market.
  • Supervise marketing team members in external markets.
  • Hire, train, and develop staff, in collaboration with upper management and HR.
  • Communicate effectively with staff to motivate and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform staff performance reviews, identifying areas for development and training needs.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, as needed.
  • Edit and oversee the social media content calendar for organic posts across all platforms, utilizing paid advertising and/or boosted posts as needed.
  • Manage the locations’ online reputation by responding to reviews, customer surveys, and direct messages.
  • Update and maintain the Wix websites of assigned locations.
  • Plan and execute email campaigns to market events, private parties, and special promotions using Constant Contact.
  • Develop search and display campaigns using Google Ads.
  • Manage location photography and videography needs, including editing of photos and videos for promotions.
  • Coordinate and ensure delivery of operational supplies, including table tents, sandwich boards, posters, gift cards, apparel, and menus.
  • Execute paid marketing campaigns through print media, digital media, radio, and outdoor; analyze and adjust accordingly.
  • Plan special events at assigned locations to coincide with holidays, sporting events, major milestones, and other opportunities to drive traffic.
  • Assist Marketing Director in coordinating sponsorship opportunities with local community events and activities.
  • Work with local brands to execute cross-promotions.
  • Assist Private Party Sales Manager in planning private events using Tripleseat, as needed.
  • Maintain relationships with reporters and bloggers on the lifestyle and hospitality beat local to the locations managed.
  • Regularly issue press releases and announcements, invite media to special events.
  • Update the company blog, The Garnish, with intriguing, timely articles.
  • Track and report on performance of marketing initiatives including events, promotions, paid campaigns, and social media.
  • Analyze traffic, sales, and engagement data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Use insights to optimize future campaigns, event programming, and media spend.
  • Partner with Operations and Marketing teams to share results and recommendations.
  • Maintain consistent reporting processes across assigned locations and markets.
