About The Position

The Manager, Retail Operations leads the planning, coordination, and execution of retail focused marketing initiatives that support store teams and instore and event experiences. This role ensures operational clarity, consistent communication, and disciplined execution across retail marketing workflows.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, retail operations, or related roles
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience
  • Strong planning, communication, and problem‑solving skills
  • Experience operating in a matrixed, cross‑functional environment

Responsibilities

  • Own retail marketing execution planning including timelines, calendars, and communications
  • Serve as the primary connection point between Marketing, Field Operations, and Stores
  • Manage retail marketing workflows tied to promotions, signage, and store initiatives
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and execution efficiency
  • Partner with vendors and internal teams to ensure delivery against expectations
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members responsible for retail execution support
  • Lead strategy, planning, and execution of off‑property retail experiences—including events and partner locations—in close coordination with the Partnerships and Media teams.
  • Oversee cross‑functional marketing projects tied to: Product expansions (PLUS), HR‑driven initiatives, Store toolkits and operational marketing needs, In‑store music programming and voiceover execution, Promo code and coupon quantity planning for store activations, including mCash and bounce‑back programs
  • Own the Gift Card program end‑to‑end, including timeline management, creative direction, design approvals, and production execution.
  • Serve as the weekly omni‑channel point person, delivering clear overviews and updates to cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure alignment across stores, digital, media, and partnerships.
  • Supports company construction projects including new, relocating and remodel stores.
