About The Position

We’re seeking a Marketing Operations & Lifecycle Manager to drive member acquisition, engagement, and retention through data-informed, multi-channel marketing. This role blends strategy and execution—owning lifecycle campaign development while optimizing the systems, data, and processes that power them. You’ll play a critical role in shaping how and when members engage with Cylinder, ensuring they receive timely, personalized communications that guide them to the right care and ultimately improve their health outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience with 3+ years of direct marketing operations experience
  • At least one year of experience working at a start up
  • Advanced expertise in Iterable, or similar tool, including the ability to develop complex customer journeys from scratch and create data-driven audience segments to optimize member engagement
  • Strong data analysis and optimization capabilities
  • Self-directed, highly organized, and ability to prioritize

Responsibilities

  • Own architecture, integration, and ongoing optimization of email automation tool (Iterable), serving as the internal expert and primary vendor lead
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities to increase efficiency and scale
  • Partner with Data and Product to ensure data accuracy and integrations, audience integrity, and reliable event tracking
  • Document workflows and best practices for campaign setup, naming conventions, data hygiene, and reporting consistency.
  • Monitor channel performance and deliverability, adjusting strategies as needed
  • Execute lifecycle marketing across email, SMS, push, and other digital channels using Iterable
  • Design and optimize end-to-end member journeys (onboarding, engagement, retention, winback)
  • Analyze campaign results to generate insights and drive continuous improvement
