About The Position

MANE is a 5th generation French family-owned business renowned for its innovation and progress in the Flavor and Fragrance industry. As sensation enthusiasts, MANE aims to provide exceptional daily moments through timeless flavors and fragrances, driven by passion, creativity, and innovation. The company is seeking a Marketing Manager for fine fragrance at its NYC location. This individual contributor role involves independently leading the fragrance-marketing strategy for account-specific presentations and category initiatives, as well as identifying new olfactive and business opportunities based on market intelligence and client needs.

Requirements

  • 5+ years marketing/sales/advertising experience in fragrance industry.
  • Creative ability
  • Oral (presentation) and written skills
  • Computer skills-Word, Excel, PP and Canva
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Strong Analytical Skills

Nice To Haves

  • B.S. degree in Marketing preferred
  • Knowledge of InDesign is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Utilize internal data and external industry sources to support the fragrance-marketing strategy to develop market overviews and studies regarding fragrance/product trends for various categories.
  • Create category reviews via analysis of Nielsen/IRI/Circana sell-through data for internal and external deliverables.
  • Build and support new and existing platforms and tools to support the business.
  • Support the Marketing Director on large-scale initiatives and overall strategy.
  • Create and deliver compelling creative concepts and presentations with supporting visuals both proactively and in response to customer requests.
  • Keep abreast of emerging market trends and societal trends.
  • Work with clients to enhance consumer understanding of fragrance, the creative process, and trends.
  • Interpret client needs and translate them into winning fragrance-marketing strategies.
  • Initiate brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas.
  • Work closely with Perfumers, Evaluators, R&D, and Sales to develop strategic ideas.
  • Support MANE affiliates.
  • Some travel is required.
  • Other duties and responsibilities in support of company objectives.
