About The Position

As the Marketing Manager, Aerospace, you will be responsible for overseeing strategic product introductions, driving business activities to establish them in the market, and facilitating strategic planning and competitive intelligence. You will also provide strategic business analyses, including documenting financial impact, manufacturing issues, competitive environment and threats, and proprietary positions in manufacturing and product development. The Aerospace Business in ECMS produces ozone and ozone/VOC converters for aircrafts and services these converters in the aftermarket via their MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) shop. This is a hybrid position with an expectation of 2-3 days per week in the Iselin, NJ office. You will report to the Global Business Director of Aerospace and collaborate across multiple global functions to execute the new business strategy, contribute to launch activities and business case development for product lines and aftermarket services. You will serve on the Aerospace Leadership Team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline required.
  • A minimum of 7 years’ total work experience.
  • 3 years of which in sales, marketing, product management, engineering, and/or Technical Service Sales.
  • Experience developing pricing strategies, market mapping, business cases, and forecasting/budgeting required.
  • Strong financial acumen required.

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience working in a global environment preferred.
  • Experience managing revenue/margin targets, sales forecasting process, and supporting budgeting process preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Functioning as the market expert for intended products, drive end-to-end profitability and maintain strong relationships with global internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with supply chain to optimize procurement negotiations, raw material security, cost reduction programs, and value chain optimization.
  • Defining commercial priorities, pricing strategy, and aligning resources in support of ongoing customer programs.
  • Responsible for annual budgeting for the Global Aerospace business.
  • Responsible for strategic project management.
  • Prioritize and coordinate new product development and aftermarket service targets.
  • Develop business cases to justify technical resource allocation on projects.
  • Collaborate with the communications team to execute marketing communications for the Aerospace business including tradeshow preparation, marketing collateral, and industry presentations.
  • Develop business cases to assess impact and set targets for new projects in RD&A organization.
  • Own the NBD process for the Aerospace business.
