About The Position

AlgaeCal is searching for a top-tier Marketing Leader (Campaigns) to join their team and propel revenue growth. This role requires a strategic marketing leader experienced in turning campaigns into revenue-generating machines. The ideal candidate will have experience planning offers, mapping customer journeys, briefing channels, aligning stakeholders, analyzing performance data, and making optimizations. Fluency in the full marketing funnel, including paid media, e-commerce, email, loyalty, creative, customer service, and analytics, is essential for ensuring a cohesive customer experience. The company is an e-commerce business focused on providing a natural solution to bone loss, aiming to end the fear associated with bone density issues.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of marketing leadership experience planning and executing D2C campaigns in an eCommerce environment.
  • Experience leading campaigns from concept through optimization and reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to turn campaign performance data into smart decisions (CPA, ROAS, revenue, customer segments, contribution margin, EBITDA).
  • Understanding of the full marketing funnel and how various channels (paid media, email, e-commerce, loyalty, organic social, affiliates, influencers, customer service, marketplaces) interact.
  • Experience with campaign strategy, including offer strategy, timing, landing pages, upsells, cross-sells, bundles, coupons, and discount logic.
  • Experience managing paid media and campaign budgets with a focus on profitability and unit economics.
  • Track record of leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Ability to work with channel owners, project managers, analysts, creatives, and senior leaders.
  • Experience designing and executing customer journeys.
  • Extensive eCommerce experience, including understanding of heatmaps, site speed, and A/B testing.
  • Knowledge of martech, adtech, attribution, and analytics landscape, including tools like Triple Whale and GA4.
  • Experience with testing strategies (A/B testing, multivariate testing, UX tests, offer tests, funnel tests, creative tests).
  • Understanding of marketing claims, product basics, customer service considerations, and legal disclaimers in the health space.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute D2C campaigns in an eCommerce environment.
  • Lead campaigns from initial concept through launch, optimization, and reporting.
  • Make strategic, data-driven decisions using campaign performance data (CPA, ROAS, revenue, customer segments, contribution margin, EBITDA).
  • Understand and manage the full customer journey across various channels (paid media, email, e-commerce, loyalty, organic social, affiliates, influencers, customer service, marketplaces).
  • Develop campaign strategies that engage, educate, and motivate customer action, including offer strategy, timing, landing pages, upsells, cross-sells, bundles, coupons, and discount logic.
  • Manage campaign mechanics to ensure optimal performance, including pausing, shifting, or suppressing evergreen content during live campaigns.
  • Balance company priorities, finance approvals, product logistics, creative capacity, compliance, customer service needs, and channel constraints.
  • Manage paid media and campaign budgets with a focus on revenue and profitability, understanding unit economics and contribution margin.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and cross-functional coordination with channel owners, project managers, analysts, creatives, and senior leaders.
  • Influence, negotiate, and guide teams to achieve campaign goals.
  • Ensure a seamless customer experience by considering the perspective of new prospects, returning customers, reward points, customer service interactions, and overall human experience.
  • Design and execute customer journeys from initial interaction to final purchase, ensuring all touchpoints are connected and intentional.
  • Identify and address revenue leakage issues such as coupon abuse, conflicting communications, poorly timed popups, expired offers, unclear bundles, bad suppression logic, and clunky checkout processes.
  • Utilize martech, adtech, attribution, and analytics tools (e.g., Triple Whale, GA4) to contextualize performance and make informed decisions.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies (A/B testing, multivariate testing, UX tests, offer tests, funnel tests, creative tests) aligned with broader roadmaps.
  • Ensure marketing claims, product basics, customer service considerations, and legal disclaimers are accurate, compliant, and trustworthy within the health space.
